Microsoft Help Forums: xp home - user account will not delete - Microsoft Help Forums

i got this laptop from a friend to fix...it had 8 user accounts and all of
them were administrators....i picked the one with the computer's owner name
to save....i deleted all the other accounts through control panel>user
accounts....but one...there are still two profiles...and this one will not go
away...it was fulllll of kids games links and there is a program called Robox
that will not uninstall....i have changed the account to a limited account
and tried to delete it again....nope.....i have seen some posts that suggest
going to start>run>open>controluserpasswords2......but this will not work on
this comp.....also i have seen posts that suggest to go to control
panel>system and maintenance>computer management>system>users.....but when i
get to system.....there is no users on the list..........ugh........please
help me find a way to delete this account......thanks!
